Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GreetPop ("the App"), a mobile application and website (greetpop.org, including the web card builder) developed and operated by Nazar Verbytskyi ("I", "me", "my").
By downloading or using GreetPop you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What GreetPop Does
GreetPop helps you remember and celebrate the important moments of the people you care about. Core features include:
- Birthday and occasion reminders
- AI-generated greeting message suggestions
- Greeting card creation and saving to your photo library
- Friend and contact management, including optional import from your device contacts or Facebook birthdays
- Voice assistant for hands-free reminders (Android) and Siri shortcuts (iOS)
- Broadcast greetings to multiple friends at once
- Groups for organising friends
- Premium subscription for advanced features, bought in the App or on greetpop.org
- Money gifts in USDC attached to cards sent from greetpop.org
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use GreetPop. If you are in the EU or UK, you must be at least 16 years old, or have verifiable parental consent. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Account
- You may sign in with your email, Google account, or Apple ID.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
- I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Premium Subscription
4.1 What Is Included
The GreetPop Premium subscription unlocks features as described in the App or on the greetpop.org Premium page at the time of purchase, including Siri shortcuts, home screen widgets, iMessage extension, and unlimited greeting shuffles. Feature availability may change with app updates. If a material premium feature is permanently removed, I will notify you in advance and, where required by applicable consumer protection law, offer a proportional remedy.
4.2 Billing
You can buy Premium in three places. Subscriptions are billed on the cycle you select (monthly or annual) by whoever sold them to you:
- iOS (Apple App Store): Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Android (Google Play Store): Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Web (greetpop.org): Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Web purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's reseller service, which acts as the merchant of record: Link sells the subscription to you, collects and pays any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts and invoices. Your card statement shows
LINK.COM* GREETPOP. Prices are set in US dollars and may be shown and charged in your local currency at checkout. Link's own terms also apply to the purchase.
Premium belongs to your GreetPop account, so it works in the App and on the web whichever of these you bought it from. Manage and cancel it where you bought it.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
4.3 No Free Trial
Premium has no free trial. The first payment is taken when you subscribe. A subscription that started with a free month before 20 October 2026 keeps it: if you cancel before that free month ends, you are not charged; if you do not, the first payment is taken when it ends.
4.4 Cancellation
- iOS: Cancel at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Android: Cancel at any time via your Google Play subscription settings.
- Web: Cancel at any time with Manage Subscription on the Premium or Account page of greetpop.org, or on link.com. Deleting your GreetPop account also cancels a web subscription straight away.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Premium until then. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period — see Refunds below.
4.5 Refunds
Refunds depend on where you bought Premium:
- iOS: Apple handles refunds in accordance with their refund policy. I cannot refund App Store purchases myself.
- Android: Google handles refunds in accordance with their refund policy. I cannot refund Google Play purchases myself.
- Web: I can refund web purchases directly. See the Refund Policy for when a refund is given and how to ask for one.
4.6 Price Changes
I may change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance and given the option to cancel before a new price takes effect.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Upload or transmit offensive, defamatory, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Circumvent any premium feature restriction
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the App
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the voice assistant or greeting features to generate or send content that is abusive, illegal, or harmful
6. User Content
Content you create in the App (greeting messages, card designs, notes) remains yours. By creating content you grant me a limited licence to store and display it to you within the App. I do not claim ownership of your content.
7. Greeting Suggestions
Greeting message suggestions are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude) on my server when you create a custom occasion. Only the occasion label is sent to the AI — no personal data about you or your friends. Do not include personal names, private details, or sensitive information in occasion labels. Generated templates are stored on my servers and may be shown to other users. Suggestions are provided as a starting point only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any message before sending it. I make no guarantees that suggestions will be appropriate for every occasion or recipient.
8. Intellectual Property
All other content, trademarks, logos, and software in GreetPop are owned by me or my licensors. Some photo backgrounds on older cards are Unsplash photos, used under the Unsplash licence and served from GreetPop's own servers. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from App content without my written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Apple, Google, Stripe (and its Link service, for web purchases), Mixpanel, Sentry, and optionally Facebook. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies. I am not responsible for the actions or availability of third-party services.
Money gifts also use Coinbase (Coinbase Developer Platform, Coinbase Onramp and Coinbase Smart Wallet) and the Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon blockchains — see Section 12.
10. Reminder Delivery
Reminders in GreetPop are scheduled locally on your device. Delivery depends on your device settings, operating system, and whether notifications are enabled. I cannot guarantee delivery at an exact time.
11. Error Tracking and Monitoring
GreetPop uses Sentry, a third-party error tracking service, to monitor app stability and diagnose crashes. When errors occur, the following information may be sent to Sentry's servers: your user ID, crash stack traces, device information, IP address, and breadcrumb trails of your actions before the error. While we use this data to fix bugs and improve reliability, I do not guarantee that:
- All errors will be detected or reported in real-time
- Every reported error will be fixed in a timely manner
- Error data collection will never cause performance issues
See our Privacy Policy for details on how error data is handled, retained, and deleted.
12. Money Gifts
12.1 What They Are
On greetpop.org you can attach a gift of USDC (a stablecoin issued by Circle) on the Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Polygon network to a card. The gift is locked in GreetPop's GiftVault smart contract and can be claimed by whoever has its gift code. Money gifts are available on the website only, not in the mobile app.
12.2 I Never Hold Your Money
I never hold, control or have access to gift funds or to your wallet's keys. Once locked, a gift can only go to the wallet named with its gift code, or back to the wallet that locked it. I cannot reverse, redirect, freeze or recover a gift, or pay one out on anyone's behalf.
12.3 The Gift Code
The gift code is shown once, when you lock the gift. Anyone who has it can claim the gift, so send it to your friend separately and privately — never in the card itself. I cannot recover a lost code. A gift whose code is lost cannot be claimed, but the sender can take it back.
12.4 Taking a Gift Back
Until a gift is claimed, the sender can take it back to the wallet that locked it. Once claimed, a gift cannot be taken back.
12.5 Fees
The sender pays a service fee of 1% of the gift, on top of the gift amount, when locking it (for example, a $100 gift costs $101). The fee is shown before you confirm and is not refunded, including when a gift is taken back or never claimed, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Blockchain network fees may also apply; I may pay some of them. Coinbase may charge its own fees when you buy USDC through Onramp.
12.6 Limits
Each gift has a maximum amount, shown in the builder (currently $500). I may change, limit or withdraw money gifts at any time; gifts already locked stay claimable and can still be taken back.
12.7 Your Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to send or claim a money gift.
- Use money gifts only lawfully — not for money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, or to pay for goods or services. I may refuse to relay a claim or sponsor a transaction I reasonably believe is unlawful.
- You are responsible for any taxes on gifts you send or receive.
- Check the wallet address before claiming: it must accept USDC on the network the gift was sent on, which the card page names, and a claim sent to a wrong address cannot be undone.
12.8 Third Parties and Risks
Wallets (browser wallets, Coinbase Smart Wallet and email-login wallets) and Coinbase Onramp are third-party services under their own terms. Blockchain transactions carry risks I do not control, including network delays or outages, actions by USDC's issuer (which can freeze funds), and smart-contract risk — the GiftVault contract was audited and its source is published, but no software is free of risk. USDC is not a bank deposit and is not insured or guaranteed by me, and nothing in GreetPop is investment advice. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for losses caused by lost gift codes, wrong wallet addresses, third-party wallets or services, or events on the blockchain.
12.9 Refunds
Gift amounts are moved on the blockchain, so I cannot refund them. Taking a gift back is the way to recover an unclaimed gift.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Reminders will be delivered at the exact time scheduled
- Greeting suggestions will be accurate or appropriate for every occasion
- Errors detected by our monitoring service will always be fixed
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
My total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 50.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including under Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act), my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
15. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country, including:
- Australia: Australian Consumer Law
- New Zealand: Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
- UK / EU: applicable consumer rights legislation
16. Termination
I may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account and stop using the App at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will do so.
17. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. I will notify you of material changes via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where I am based, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in jurisdictions where mandatory local law applies, local consumer protection laws also apply.
19. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute, please contact me first at verbytskyi.nazar@gmail.com. I will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
EU / UK users: The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. I am not currently registered with a certified alternative dispute resolution body, but you may use this platform to submit a complaint.
